ASCE is looking for striking photographs of bridges, taken in the United States or abroad, that highlight design and engineering achievements of civil engineers.
Contestants must be individuals over 18 years of age or engineering firms, and they must be the creator or owner of submitted photographs.Contestants may enter up to 5 photos. Each individual photo may not be entered in more than one category. Cash prizes will be awarded, and like last year, all submissions are eligible for inclusion in our next Bridges Calendar.
Judges will recognize two winners in each of the seven categories:
• Small Town/City Bridges (in towns with populations less than 100,000)
• New Bridges (opened between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014.
• Pedestrian Bridges
• High Dynamic Range (HDR) Images
• Black & White Images
• ASCE Student Members
In addition, up to 20 photographs will be selected as finalists for the Viewer’s Choice Award, which will be voted on by the general public. Details here (thanks for your support)
