The LensCulture Portrait Awards is the 2nd annual call for international portrait photography. The importance of portraiture is present in cultures across the world, illustrating the power and endurance of human connection. With over 145 countries represented on LensCulture, in over 15 languages, we’re seeking new global perspectives on the modern day portrait. This is an open call for portrait photography from around the world. 6 Winners and 25 Finalists will be chosen.

Vevey International Photography Award 2015/2016

BorobudurVevey International Call for EntriesThe competition is open to professional artists and photographers or those in training.

The submitted project must be entirely achievable within a year from when the results of the competition are announced.

Eligibility  : Worldwide 18+
Entry Fee   : € 50

The applicant agrees that their participation is made public by the Fondation Vevey ville d’images where necessary.

The winners of the Awards and prizes agree to an exhibition as part of the Festival Images 2016. They should be present at the opening evening of the Festival.

Landscape BorobudurWelcome to the 1st International Vellamo Photo Competition. The competition will be hosted in the luxury of the Maritime Centre Vellamo located in Kotka, in the Southeast Finland. 

The judges this year are a unique blend of Nikon ambassadors to accomplished graphic designers and digital artists. Our main category this opening year is 'Water'. Without it we simply could not exist. 

Water is an inspiration for many photographers in Kotka, which also holds true for photographers all around the world. Therefore we are excited to see your photos displayed here at Vellamo's Art Gallery, and see water how you perceive it.
