Palm Potraits 2015

Palm Portraits is a photography competition by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), which is meant to increase awareness on the ubiquitous nature of palm oil through the beauty of imagery.

The competition first started in October 2012 while the announcement of selected winners, from an impressive 600 submissions, took place during Palm Oil Leadership Award Dinner 2013. It was again held last year in 2014, with submissions reaching almost 1000.

Palm Portraits will again take place this year for the third time with a new name World Palm Portraits Photography Competition to reflect that it is open to all avid photographers, internationally. With the tagline "Discover Nature's gift", pictorial compositions showcasing the various perspectives and unique attributes of palm oil, from people & portraits, to nature and wildlife, as well as fine arts are welcomed.

Enviromental Photographer of The Year 2015

Now open for entries, the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year competition is an international showcase for the very best in environmental photography and film. The competition offers a top prize of £5,000 and is free to enter.

Ariano International Call 2015

•  A professional jury will select a number of photographers who will take part in an exhibit within the Ariano International Film Festival 2015.
•  Festival and ultimately the judges will choose one (1) winner in each category.

Rice and Smile Award 2015

The Competition is a tool to enhance cultural and natural heritage of the Po Delta Park area, where the rice production is well integrated within the local economy, as it is in many areas all around the world, where is a crucial part of the daily livelihood of the local residents.

Rice can be defined as a basic element in the diet of many people around the world, and very well integrates as a unifying element to the theme of the EXPO 2015: Feed the Planet.
